Launching of SHOAW Bantaba as part of SHOAW Gambia's Initiative
On January 12, 2019, SHOAW Gambia launched a new progam called "SHOAW Bantaba" as part of their activities. The whole purpose of the Bantaba was to provide a SAFE Space for young people to openly share stories of issues affecting them online and in person, getting to the roots causes of how it's affecting them and finding solutions to those issues.
As part of the new program, guest speakers would be invited to give an inspiration talk on various topics of interest while also talking about some of the safety measures they take in protecting themselves online.
