Application is now open for the recruitment for it's 3rd Cohort Free Certification Training on Digital Safety and Life Skills for teenagers aged 13 to 17 or Grade 7 to 12.
The training is part of SHOAW's activities in addressing the increasing harassement and online abuses especailly on women and and girls because cyberbullying, hate speech and fake news has become a growning concern for everyone nowadays. Once you go online, the chances of you encountering mean behavior are quite high. It is important for young people to explore how individual actions -- negative and positive, intentional and unintentional -- can affect their peers and others.
It will also give opportunity for young people to develop new skills for long term stability, wellness and success.
If you or someone you know meets the requirments for this training, click on the link APPLY NOW. We are also encouraging more girls to apply for this opportunity. The deadline for application is May 31, 2021.
